1st week…. On Monday evening I had to bang on the floor as the two below were shouting and causing a disturbance again, he shouted to me to ” f##k off”, I shouted down “I wont I’m sick of you two”. On Tuesday I was working on reception duty in the afternoon after my mornings work. On Thursday I went to do Winnies hair after work.

2nd week…. I worked on reception duty after work Monday afternoon. Tuesday evening I was subjected to loud music, then the arguing, shouting, cupboard and oven door slamming started. I banged on the floor, she shouted to me to “shut up”, I shouted I wont and if you don’t pack it in I’m calling the police”.  At about 8:30pm I heard a man saying “come on Brenda, taxi’s here, come on Brenda”. Did she leave? I don’t know but it went quiet. I came home from work Wednesday afternoon and couldn’t believe she was there and still gobbing off, I was subject to her foul language all night, I woke at 4am and they were still arguing…. Thursday and Friday night I had to put up with their singing and guitar playing grrrrrrr. I was on reception duty again Friday afternoon too and I was working Saturday morning in the LRC so I didn’t need them keeping me up. I slept 12:30-5:30pm Saturday afternoon :O

3rd week…. Monday and Tuesday worked my regular hours, Wednesday afternoon I did my last turn on reception duty, Elaine was returning the following week after long term sick leave.

4th week…. It felt really strange only working my regular hours, no reception duty, no appointments after work just go home and relax….what to do, so much time

It never lasts…. Thursday night 11pm the two below started again and continued all night, they were still going at it when i got up for work 6am the following morning, shouting and banging doors.

A fairly busy week work wise, two afternoons on reception, Monday and Friday after my regular hours and Tuesday I went to do Winnies hair. By the weekend I was just so tired, Saturday I went back to bed and slept for about 5 hours, Sunday I went for a nap and slept for 3 hours. My life is going, working and sleeping but it’s never enough.

I worked on reception Wednesday afternoon the last week and Saturday and Sunday morning in the LRC, all work and no play.

On Tuesday I went hairdressing after work to cut Marjies hair and perm Winnies. Thursday afternoon I did reception duty after work.

I was alone Easter weekend I didn’t do anything or go anywhere and the weather wasn’t good but it was nice having 4 days away from work. Unfortunately had to shout down to the tenants below on the Sunday.

The next week I was very tired, except for the Monday, I was working on reception I fell asleep every afternoon. I worked overtime Saturday and Sunday in the LRC.

30th March, My first week back….  I worked my regular hours on Monday and Friday then went to work on reception duty in the afternoon.

On Wednesday I had to stomp on the floor and shout down to the tenants below, I was so angry.

Saturday 4th April it was Len and Eileens 50th wedding anniversary…. I worked in the overtime in the LRC in the morning and had a sleep when I came home. Ruth and Doug came for me late afternoon to take me their home and I had my dinner there and got ready for the party. All was going well ’til I came to get dressed, I’d left the trousers to my suit at home, I could’ve cried. Ruth was freaking but brought me home again to get them, what a palaver, I couldn’t believe it. By the time we got to the party there was no buffet left,  I wasn’t hungry but felt bad about that for Ruth and Doug. We had plenty to drink the drinks were so cheap there and Ruth and me had a few dances, more so Ruth she was dancing with her wine bottle and all the seniors, ;)  After the party we went to a few bars in the town….

Sunday afternoon Ruth and me went swimming, I thought she may want to drown me after the night before. It’s been ages since I went to a swimming baths and was very nice. Doug did the dinner while we were out then Ruth took me home afterwards.

Mon; Went to the supermarket for some shopping, bread, milk, butter, yoghurts, orange juice, vodka, things I couldn’t bring with me. I went to the clinic at 3pm, I was there until 9pm the hygienist cleaned my teeth cleaned then Dr Artur opened 4 of the implants. After this I had my teeth whitened, the hygienist kept asking did I have any pain, I said I was ok and wondered why she kept asking me this. After the treatment I was given pain killers, now I know why, it felt like all the nerves in my teeth were on fire I felt sick with the pain. Now I can only eat white food, cheese and milk for 48 hours, I was lucky the supermarket was still open on my way home, to get some.

Tues; My appointment at the clinic wasn’t until 5:30pm so I had a lazy day, bathing, pampering, eating weird bread and white cheese. I arrived at the clinic on time but as usual I waited an hour before being seen to so was there until 7:30pm, I had impressions taken and the 5th implant opened. I made scrambled egg when I got home, yummy after just cheese.

Wed; My appointment was at 9am, I wasn’t there for long , only cleaned my implants today. I went home and went back to bed. It’s cold out and I’m very tired.

Thurs; My appointment was 9am again, again waited about an hour or more, the younger dentist called me in, he re-did  2 fillings I had either side at the top. I went back in the afternoon and had more impressions taken. The guys at the apartment lent me a computer to have in my room, I was well pleased about that. Now I could stay in my room between dental visits and relax. I had a few vodkas in the evening and played on the computer.

Fri; Played on the computer all day, my appointment wasn’t until 6pm. Had my crowns fitted, so was very happy about that, had a few vodkas in the evening , had a nice night.

Sat/Sun; No appointments over the weekend, so relaxed, played on the computer, drank vodka and ate lots of chocolate, yum.

Mon; My appointment was 9am but Dr Artur didn’t arrive until about 10:30 because he’d had to attend a meeting. Had my lower crowns fitted and one made ready for crowning.

Tues; I arrived at the clinic for 10:30, again had to wait. I was seen to by a female surgeon today, she re-filled my back tooth on the lower right. It took 2 hours and I ached all over after, I felt terrible. I had a sandwich in the afternoon and went back to bed.

Wed; Went to the clinic at 12 midday, again waited over an hour, Dr Arturs wife re-filled my back tooth on the lower left, I was dreading another long treatment but she finished it quickly. I returned in the evening and had my last crown fitted.

Thurs; My appointment wasn’t until the evening so had the day to myself, again I waited while others went before me, it was a good job my treatment was finished as by now my patience was wearing very thin, I only had some slight adjustments made which only took a few minutes, admittedly to Dr Arturs surprise, he thought it’d take longer. Did most of my packing in the evening, hate that job, but at least going back with a little less, no food supplies.

Fri; My last day, finished my packing, had a nice bath and got myself ready. My flight wasn’t until the evening, my taxi transfer came at 6:30 and my flight was on time, again no problems, I think I arrive my home about 10:30pm

Hello, playing catch up again I’m afraid.  March has been and gone, I can’t believe and didn’t realise it’d been so long since I wrote a post….

I arranged my trip to Poland at the end of Februauy for the 15th March, I counted the days until it arrived, I couldn’t wait. The week before I was going was a very busy one for me, I was working my regular hours and did reception duty on the Monday and Friday afternoon and my old lady friends hair on the Thursday afternoon so did my packing on the Saturday.

Ruth and Doug came about 1pm to take me to the airport, it was great as they stayed with me until it was time for me to go to the boarding gate so the time passed nicely chatting. My flight was on time and no problems, I had a few drinks and because I spent more than £5 I recieved a £5 voucher to spend on any individual duty free purchase over £20, how great is that, so I bought some of my favourite perfume. My taxi transfer was at the airport when I arrived and so I was at my apartment in no time. I was looking forward to the rest and relaxation and knew I’d be comfortable as I’d spent a few days in the apartment on my last visit. My only let down on arrival was there was no computer and when I opened my suitcase my milk powder had opened and spilt over half of my clothes and stuff aaaaaaaaaargh. I rinsed everything through then had a nice relax in the bath and went to bed. I had a very good sleep - noone disturbing me it was bliss

It wasn’t a good week I felt tired and ached all over …

I was only on reception on Wednesday this week, I was a bit worried because of how I was feeling but it went ok I’m pleased to say.

I was glad when Friday came, I phoned the housing about the neighbours dog he said there wasn’t anything they could do if I didn’t know which flat, I said it’s only one of six I’m asking you to check, he said he’d write to them.

I was headachey but had a few vodkas Friday night and enjoyed them at the time but I suffered a bit on the Saturday so had a lazy day spoilt by that damned dog being left out barking. I was so angry I put my coat on and went round to the flats where it comes from, I rang a couple but they said they didn’t know whose it was, I told the last one I was calling the dog warden then.

On Sunday I went for my shopping, the first time I’d done it on a weekend in a while, I stocked up on a few things and got a taxi home. I was tired by the time I got all the bags up the stairs then the chore of putting it all away, not an easy task when you have very little storage. I was watching tv but was falling asleep so  had a nap on the sofa, I was so tired.

My Sunday night was spoilt by the loons below not fighting but shouting, they can’t talk normal and the barking dog. I went to bed about 1130pm I was very tired only to be disturbed at 130am by the loons below, her shouting and then a couple more times after that raised voices and toilet flushing and I’d stuffed cotton wool in my ears. Needless to say I was like a zombie when my alarm went off at 6am Monday.

This is an update to a post I’d started and forgotten about, aplogies …

I went for a health check on Wednesday I was transferring to the surgery next to where I live, I was pleased everything was ok, my blood pressure was perfect too.

On Thursday I went to do my old lady friend Winnies hair she was having a cut and blow dry.

Friday the loons below were fighting 1130/130am

It was Maureen and my weekend to work, I went to bed when I got home only to be disturbed by a neighbours dog barking, I tried to ignore it but couldn’t. I looked out my window and saw the dog then a woman, I asked was it hers, she said no. Turned out to be the tenant belows girl friend, she apologised for the trouble and said it wont happen again, I said I didn’t want any animosity but I couldn’t live like that and it had to stop. We will see …

This is an addition to my last post …

I worked the mornings at the weekend, I hate having to get up I always feel like I haven’t slept but the time goes quickly once I’m there and then Maureen brings me home and the extra earnings is a bonus and big help. I usually do a few jobs around the flat when I get home and have a play on the computer ’til the tiredness takes over then I go to have a sleep, I slept from 2-4pm on Saturday and 4-6pm on Sunday.

I’ve been getting harrassed by a neighbours dog barking, they put it out and leave it out for hours at a time, It gets out from it’s yard and gets into ours and runs round or stands there under my window just barking non stop, it drives me crazy. I phoned the environmental health dept they said they’d drive round, I don’t know if they did.

There’s a few classes on this week but being reading week it’s fairly quiet so I’m able to catch up on some areas of work but it’s been better also since I stopped doing the overtime as now I’m able to keep on top of my own work.

On Monday I went to work  on reception after doing my regular hours, I was nervous but very excited and looking forward to it immensley, I love it so much.  I truly think I found my vocation, I love my hairdressing but think it may be too late for me to return to that. My friend Elaine came to see me in her lunch break, it’s her job we’re all covering. I had a bit of a situation in that what I thought was a foreign student came only to learn he was a refugee looking for an english language course. It was very difficult as his English was so limited and his interpreter wasn’t much better either and there was other students coming for attention also. Trying to explain that the university doesn’t provide free courses was very difficult and quite frustrating, eventually with the help of the school office staff I sorted him out with a contact to email as to where he may be able to get the help he needed.

I did reception again after my regular hours on the Wednesday afternoon, Angie didn’t hang about for long after I arrived, she said I’m better on my own and I am. My friend Elaine came to see me again. which was nice, she’s very proud and supportive of me. The afternoon went well and I was thanked several times on my help and assistance which felt really good.

On Thursday evening the two living me below me were arguing and shouting again so I had to shout down, I can’t bear it anymore and. I eventually went to bed about 1130/12 only to be woken at 130 am by her shouting, so I shouted back to shut up.

On Friday I struggled again to get up for work, I’m finding it really difficult and it doesn’t help when woken in the night. I phoned Claire the housing officer, she said it’s not a problem she can call them in, I was in two minds her having apologised a few weeks ago but don’t feel like I can knock on their door as suggested by a friend. I saw him with another meddling with his van when I got home from work but felt he dodged me and went the other side so losing the opportunity to say anything.
