May 30th, 2006 My Bank Holiday Weekend

Hiya!!! Well i enjoyed my weekend very much. I went home from work on Friday very tired, i took myself off to bed and slept a good few hours. I woke up just after American Idol started. I only wanted to know who won but  it was like a cabaret show and i got quite bored.

I spent my Saturday washing and ironing ( ready for my holiday) . I watched a dvd my brother lent me called triple x lots of noise and action.

On Sunday my brother-in-law picked me up, i had a nice dinner then we got ready to go out. The manager in one of the bars said “i can tell your Ruth’s sister” i said “why’s that ?” thinking i’d done something wrong, he said ” because you’re the double of her.

On Monday Ruth and i went shopping in Liverpool but we didn’t get out ’til late as our plan to be up and out didn’t transpire. I bought a nice top for my holiday but unfortunately poor Ruth has had to take her stuff back. Then we called into Llyods Bar for something to eat.

May 26th, 2006 Thank Crunchie it’s Friday!

Yay at last it’s Friday! And the end of another working week, i am looking forward to the bank holiday, having an extra day off work brill ! This week i have been busy doing jobs in my flat, every day i have gone home and done something like cleaning my windows inside and out, i’m always chuffed with myself when i’ve done that job. On Monday i shampooed my carpets. I have to say they weren’t as bad as i was expecting, but it feels good knowing they are done. Next on my list is the sofa then the usual every day stuff you have to do. I have found that since down-grading from a two bedroomed house to a one bedroomed flat it is a constant round of tidying. I only need to put something down and it looks like a tornado has run through the place. I have decided it’s not clutter as some of my friends have said it’s because my place is small and there is nowhere to store anything. So tonight i will chill, oh and watch American Idol.

May 25th, 2006 Shopping with my Sister

My sister Ruth comes every week, work shifts permitting to see me. She takes me for my food shopping, which is an enormous help to me i can tell you. The years i have struggled with bags of shopping is no joke, but my own fault, i always buy more than i can carry. And those damn trolleys are decieving too ! Now although we both hate doing the trolley dash we have a laugh. We go clothes shopping together too, i tell her off if she goes without me haha, the last few months we have been shopping for our holiday next month. and the screams and laughter we have doing that, sometimes she makes me laugh so much it hurts. Then we go to the Light of Bengal for an indian and chill for an hour or two before she takes me back home.

May 25th, 2006 My Weekend

I love my weekends, being free to do what i want when i want. Last weekend i stayed at my brother and his girlfriends, they live in Great Sutton. My brother came for me on the Friday afternoon which was great except it was a mad rush for me to be ready, not easy when you are me! Then i had my sister Ruth texting me, ya better be ready !! We went for a Mexican at Chiquito’s, it was very nice and we had a very good waiter who looked after us . After sharing a platter, then a main course and desert i was very stuffed and wanted to lie down ! After our meal we went to the cinema to see the Davinci code. I have to say i enjoyed the book more.Saturday afternoon David and Sarah cooked a barbeque which was very nice. In the evening we watched films and had some drinks, i had my favourite, vodka and lemonade. Sunday was a lazy day, Sarah took me to get my trampet, after seeing hers i thought it would be a good idea to get my own ! Then we had our dinner and some drinks, my brother wasn’t happy he couldn’t have a beer because he had to take me home, but not before he created this site for me !

May 22nd, 2006 About Me

Hi my name is Heather, i was born in Liverpool in the late 1950’s where i lived with my parents and younger sister Hazel ’til i was three. After this time we moved to Leeds because of my dads work. Several years later along came my sister Ruth then my brother David.

When i was eleven we moved again to the Wirral for my dads work. I stayed on at school ’til i was sixteen, i did a Saturday job at the local hairdressers where i continued to work after i left school. I served my three years apprenticeship and all in all stayed at the shop nine years, i loved the work and had a very good clientele but had to leave. Then after getting married a week after my twenty sixth birthday i returned to Liverpool ( this was where my husband lived) and have lived here since . After about six months i got another hairdressing job where i worked eighteen months then got the job i have been doing now for twenty one years ! phew !!! I hope you will view and enjoy reading my web site.
