August 31st, 2006 Indian With Ruth

My sister Ruth came tonight, she hasn’t been over since before we went on holiday in June, she arrived about 8pm and we went to do a shop, i’d done an online shop which was being delivered on Saturday so i didn’t need much. After we’d done the shopping we went for an indian, we hadn’t done that either since before we went away. I had chicken tikka, i wanted tikka masala but forgot to ask for tikka massala so i just got the tikka but it was very nice. Ruth had her usual butter chicken and we have keema rice with it. We finished at nearly 12am and Ruth dropped me off .

August 29th, 2006 Meeting My Friend Elaine

I arranged to meet my friend Elaine after work, we went  for a drink and had pub meal. We had cheese garlic bread to start, Elaine had chicken curry with boiled rice and i had cottage pie, chips, peas and gravy. It was very nice and very filling. Unfortunately Elaines husband was at T.A. tonight so she couldn’t stay, as the buses to Widnes finish at 5.30pm she needed him to get a lift home.

August 28th, 2006 Another Day Out

We had a cooked breakfast then got ready to go out, my friend washed and dried  my clothes for me.they were pretty dirty and beer had been spilt down my trousers. We got the one o clock train  into the city centre, of course it was packed with both shoppers and people who had come to watch the bands. We went to watch the bands at the Pier Head, It was a nice day but being by the river it was very windy and when the sun  went behind the clouds  it was very cool, We had a few drinks and my friend had made sandwiches to take with us. It was a good day out, a good weekend. and by the time i got home i was very tired .

August 27th, 2006 Beatles Weekend

I woke around ten o clock had some cereal and put the water on to heat up for my bath. while i waited i tidied round my flat, that’s all i seem to do. I bathed and shampooed my hair, put my make-up on, decided on what i was wearing then went for the bus into town. I met my friend Kathy about four o clock she was with her partner and some friends, May and Gordon, who had come down from Scotland and her friend  Jeanette and her daughter Hayley from Surrey so there was a good crowd of us. It was a nice day and we watched a couple of bands in the courtyard of one of the bars then moved on to the next bar. On the way May decided we should have a ride on the teacups, a childrens ride, i got on with them for a laugh and thinking we would just amble around after all that’s what childrens rides do, isn’t it ? Not so this time, we were spun round by my friend Kathy’s partner, her brother and the guy that operated the ride! Scream if you wanna go faster, ha, it was like being on a white knuckle ride they spun us so fast and hard i thought the teacup was going to take off. By the time which was like an eternity the ride stopped none of could focus the city was spinning haha, and my friend had wet herself.
We went on to the next bar and laughed about the ride and my friend wetting herself, next we went to the Big House they had a dj playing, we had a couple of rounds of drinks and a few dances then moved on to the next. At this time the lovely day had turned into teeming rain so we had to run like crazy to the next bar before we got soaked., only we couldn’t get in because it was full so we then had to go further afield to find my friends partner who had gone to another bar the other side of town, we weren’t pleased about that or with the choice of venue. we had one drink and moved on to the irish bar, they have a dj so we had a few drinks and a dance then got the last train back to my friends, i don’t know why but i was persuaded to stay the night at hers.

August 26th, 2006 My Saturday

I have to do my own shopping today because the online shopping wasn’t working. luckily the weather was alright so i walked to the shops. I took a few items to the Oxfam shop then went to the supermarket. While i was going round the aisles my friend telephoned to go out the Sunday and Monday, after i finished my shopping i ordered a taxi home.

Tonight is X Factor i love the auditions, so i settled down with a vodka and lemonade in front of the tv.

August 25th, 2006 My Bank Holiday Weekend

August 24th, 2006 My Hangover From Hell

This morning i woke up with the biggest head ever, one of those never again days. I couldn’t wait to get home from work i felt dreadful and it took me all day to recover.

So i had a quiet afternoon watched some tv and did my internet shopping or so i tried, but for some reason i couldn’t get the order processed, it turned out there was a problem with the computers so it looks like i’m going to have to deliver my own shopping.

August 23rd, 2006 Hamadas Interview / Making Up For Lost Time

Hamada has his interview for the visa this morning, i’ve been on pins wondering how it went for him. I telephoned as soon as i could, he said it went well and he will know in ten days, i wish i could have been there to hear and understand for myself. I felt happy because he was so positive about everything so i decided i was going home to celebrate the outcome and my birthday.

I had my dinner, washed up and had my bath then settled down with a vodka and lemonade and began texting my family and friends. Then my friend Joyce telephoned and we had a really good chat, we talked for a couple of hours and the vodka was going down nicely…………..

August 22nd, 2006 My Birthday

Today is my birthday! I had a pretty good day at work, even the weather was nice today! Maureen and me had a laugh at break-time, i opened the cards i’d been given from friends at work, Maureen had made me leave the ones i’d been given early in my locker so i wouldn’t be tempted to open them before today.

When i arrived home from work my sisters cards were there to open, i telephoned my husband Hamada as i always do, i wish he was with me to help me celebrate, then my brother telephoned to wish me `happy birthday.`I poured myself a vodka and lemonade unfortunately i couldn’t keep my eyes open so i took myself off to bed for an hour and slept for four haha! My sister Hazel sending me a text message woke me and my friend Kathy had left a message, i missed her call sleeping.

So when i eventually climbed out of bed i was hungry but didn’t fancy cooking so late so i just had some cooked chicken then some strawberries and yoghurt. My sister Ruth telephoned, we’d had a chat and exchanged text messages this morning, it was her birthday twelve days ago so we hope to get together next week, it’s difficult because of her work shifts. I am just enjoying my second vodka, i will refill it and have a nice bath then get ready for bed, so that’s my birthday for another year.

So i will wait and see what the weekend brings, maybe a night out with my friend.

August 21st, 2006 Birthday Presents / X Factor

Well i had a lie in today ’til just before 11am then i thought to myself i best get up and get myself ready as my brother David and his girlfriend Sarah were coming to bring my birthday present. So i made myself a coffee and had some cereal, i bought a new one from Kelloggs to try clusters with summer berries, delicious, i finished the last today so i will have to get some more.

I still had to wash the George Foreman Grill from my dinner last night and the roasting trays from the chicken i cooked, all too daunting last night. I got those out the way then started on the rest of the housework, before i knew it it was 1pm, yikes best jump in the bath, I sank into a nice bubble bath dunked my head under the water then i heard ding ding, ding ding ( i knew it was my brother, he always forgets to take his finger off the bell ) I thought oh no caught out again !

So i just had a quick dip then opened my presents, some computer books to help me with the laptop and some toiletries, all very useful. I will soon be as good as my brother, haaaaa laughing. We had some chicken sandwiches and wouldn’t you know it i had healthy yoghurts and fruit for dessert but what did David want, ginger nuts to dunk in his coffee, typical. They fetched me some rocket plants and a lettuce from their garden, i have a basil plant they gave me which i have been adding to my salads so i’m doing well.
So today he has set up an i tunes account for me, so i purchased a few downloads and put them onto a cd, great more interest for me, i can browse that from time to time. They had to leave me about 5pm so after i washed up i settled down and had a look what was on the box, X Factor, yippee, i missed it last night because i got mixed up with the viewing times. I thought it was 7.45pm but that was for the Xtra Factor on itv2, so i was thrilled when it was on itv2 tonight. So i got myself a vodka and lemonade and sat down to watch, laugh i was hysterical, the contestants the judges, the auditions are the best, it’s all so funny, i love it.
