On Thursday we had a surprise staff party for Jeans 60th birthday, what a palaver i had keeping her out the way while the girls got the table ready. She was so shocked when we went to the staffroom she couldn’t believe what had been done for her.

On Saturday me and the other women from work went to Marantos, Jeans daughter had sent me a text to ask would we all come and surprise Jean. She was thrilled so many of her family and friends had come unknowns to her to help her celebrate her birthday, and what a fab night we had too!

I returned to work on Wednesday 20th December, we had our staff Christmas party so it was a nice day to return. We finished for the holiday on Friday 22nd December,

Hamada and me went to my sister Hazel and her family on Boxing Day, my sister Ruth came for us. It was a very nice day lots of nice food, Hazel does a hot and cold buffet and plenty to drink. After dinner we all exchange our presents, all of which were very nice.

Except for getting together with all my family on Boxing Day my Christmas and New Year was very quiet and came and went.
