I had my longest sleep (about 11hrs ) i didn’t even hear Hamada go to work, surprise surprise !!!!!! The new tablets i have been prescribed well and truly knocked me out.

Our meal last night was very nice, i had spicy king prawns and Hamada had onion soup to start, followed by terayaki pork loin and barbeque pork ribs with garlic mash. Pork is forbidden to Hamada so he had chicken and steak strips with fajhitas, we had both eaten enough and couldn’t manage a sweet, i for one had stomach-ache. As it was Hamadas birthday he got a birthday cake and his main course was free, so what could have been an expensive night turned out quite reasonable. Hamada was very happy he enjoyed his dinner, the restaurant and being out together in nice surroundings and the of course the surprise. Unfortunately because i had stomache-ache, nothing to do with the restaurant i hasten to add, and Hamada had to be up early for work we came home after the restaurant. I had a nice Hamada style coffee and we watched some tv before retiring to bed.

My afternoon has been very quiet, Hamada didn’t get home from work until nearly 3pm because his line manager has decided he doesn’t start until 7:30 so that means he doesn’t finish until 12:30, originally he was told 6:30-11:30. So that is something we will have to look into.

Except for Hamadas snoring my evening has been somewhat quiet if you can call it that, nothing worse than someone snoring while you are trying to watch tv. It was about 5pm when i said have an hour it’s now 11:30pm.

It’s my husband Hamadas birthday today, i am home because my doctor has signed me off for two weeks. After breakfast Hamada took my doctors note to work and brought my stuff home for me then went to the mosque. I had some me time while he was gone, he doesn’t know but i have booked a table for 7:30pm at Damons restaurant, i have never been but most of the women i work with have and say it’s good.

My brother David called me on Friday to invite us out for dinner on Saturday, they have been here a couple of times but since Hamada came i haven’t been there so it was a nice surprise.

I went into town Saturday afternoon, i wanted to return some underwear and pick-up a bra i had ordered from next, really liking their goods. I had to go upstairs to the home dept to get my bra, their stuff is lovely so had to really stop myself from hitting the credit card. Then i had to get some food for the freezer, then dash home to get ready.

Sarah came about 5:30ish i’d had my bath but had to style my hair, something which doesn’t take as long since i cut it. Now since Hamada came i also have to think for him something i am not happy about as it is hard enough taking care of myself, i don’t know if it is just him or if all men are like this ??????

We went to an Italian restaurant in Chester, it was very nice, Sarah drove which was nice, no walking or hanging about waiting for taxis. Sarah and David had pizza, oh and David  VERY kindly gave me a piece of his to try (and choke on!!!!!) with a jalapeno on it. Hamada had a spicy beef ravioli or something and i had very nice chicken breast with mushroom risotto, it didn’t look like there was much there but oh my it was filling!!! then we had dessert, Hamada had the tiramisu, Sarah had a chocolate cheesecake, David had apple with amaretto meringue and i had sliced banana belgian waffle with chocolate and ice cream yum yum delicious then coffee to follow, then i needed a lie down haha!!!

After dinner we went home and had some drinks and watched tv. Perfect end to a perfect night. ThankYou David and Sarah xxxx

On Tuesday my sister Ruth came, we went for some food shopping then went for an Indian after, something we hadn’t done for a long time. I had a chicken tikka massala and Ruth had the buttered chicken, she likes it HOT, we have the keema rice with it, i love it.

Today is also Ruths, i’m not sure, first or second or day not smoking. She gave up for six months a long time ago, so i hope she succeeds in staying off them for good this time!

On Wednesday we had a staff party the new Dean had arranged for us, apparently it was to have been before Christmas but not enough staff could come so it was arranged for now. We had an indian buffett which was lovely and it was an open bar 4:30 to 8:30, they had a disco and karaoke too. Everyone enjoyed themselves and a good time was had by all!!!!!

It has been said that there will be another one this year before the Christmas and that one will be a sit down dinner, so i will look forward to that!!!
