I woke up with a bit of a headache so went for some water and tablets then went back to bed. It was probably around 11am we got up, we had some cereal for breakfast then Ruth and Doug had their baths and got ready to go see his son Michael, we were going to our sister Hazels for the day when they came back. I did some facebooking while they got ready then had my bath and got ready while they were out. I was ready when they came back, phew, I wore my new blouse and pants. Chris came to pick us up to take us to their house, it was a bit of a squeeze with all the presents and Kirsty had come along to so the three of us were piled into the back.

Chris’ mum, dad and his auntie were there and some cousins when we arrived. We exchanged hugs and greetings, then had some drinks. We had a nice dinner, Hazel had done a roast, which we served ourselves to and there was also a cold buffet, all very nice as usual. Our brother David and Sarah arrived some time later, they’d travelled from Sarahs family. After dinner we exchanged presents, had more drinks then played games, I didn’t fancy it at first but it was good fun. Friends of Ashleigh and Kirsty came later they were all going out into town.

I don’t know the time we left now, but it was late, I had had lots to drink and had a very very nice day.
