I had a really great weekend this week … On Saturday it was a lovely day so i went the prom to sunbathe and read … I was busy relaxing when my telephone rang … It was my friend Ruth calling to see did i want to go out … So i arranged to meet my friend Kathy and Ruth in town … Ruth brought her neighbour too … We went to a few bars and had a good dance it was great i really enjoyed myself.
On Sunday i went to my brother David and Sarahs to stay over … It was a lovely day again so i spent some time in the garden … Sarah did a BBQ for dinner … We had 6oz burgers they were huge !! chicken ; sausages ; sweetcorn and salad … yum !! We had a few drinks in the garden and chatted out there until about 9pm … It was great !!

On Monday it was a lovely day again … So i sat out to enjoy the sun again … Poor David cleaned my computer again !! … David and Sarah took me to Parkgate for dinner … They wanted to take me the lobster pot because they do all kinds of lovely fish and seafood … But unfortunately it was closed … So we walked to the next restaurant the marsh cat … Sarah and me had the tiger prawns in garlic butter and spring onion to start they were huge … David had duck … Sarah and me had cajun chicken ; red snapper and prawns … David had steak … I was too full for desert it was all so nice !!

On 5th May it was Sarahs birthday so they had a bbq party for her it was a nice sunny day which was good, i made my own way there for the first time, unfortunately i left it late for travelling, they did a nice bbq of chicken and lamb and salad then strawberries and cream. We had a laugh and some fun with the kids trying to skip haha. David and Sarah had a full house so i stayed the night at Hazels

On Sunday David and Sarah came to take me out for dinner… They arrived about 4pm which was nice and it gave David time to sort some things out on the computer for me … downloading my pics and my msn … We also sorted some personal issues i needed help with clarifying … and i was happy that they agreed with me on the decisions i’d made.

We left about 7pm to go the pub/restaurant … I had prawn cocktail to start, Sarah had warm brie and David had garlic cheese bread … We all had the sirloin steak with peppercorn sauce … mine was ok but again they overcooked Davids, so he wasn’t happy… I had the ice cream desert again Sarah had chocolate cake (i think) and David had cheesecake

On Friday David and Sarah came to take me out for my tea, we went to the Otterspool by the river it was a lovely evening the sun was still shining and all the trees in bloom and looking fresh it was stunning.

We had the combo to start, David and Sarah had steak for their main course, i had the salmon and prawns on a skewer, mm mm it was very tasty. Unfortunately they overcooked Davids steak but the second one was fine. I can’t remember the name of the dessert haha but it was chocolate ice cream, maltezers, chocolate brownie and marshmallow, and yes i was stuffed after! We had some drinks and chatted and as always i had a nice time.

On Saturday the sun was shining again, i walked to the shops and back then had some of the cooked chicken i bought when i got home. Then i got ready to meet my friend for some drinks, unfortunately she got held up so it was later getting out than planned, but we still had a good time.

Sunday afternoon i went to sit in the sun by the river it was very nice and very relaxing. I had the rest of my cooked chicken and then settled down in front of the tv with a vodka and lemonade…. very nice, all in all a very nice weekend !

My brother David called me on Friday to invite us out for dinner on Saturday, they have been here a couple of times but since Hamada came i haven’t been there so it was a nice surprise.

I went into town Saturday afternoon, i wanted to return some underwear and pick-up a bra i had ordered from next, really liking their goods. I had to go upstairs to the home dept to get my bra, their stuff is lovely so had to really stop myself from hitting the credit card. Then i had to get some food for the freezer, then dash home to get ready.

Sarah came about 5:30ish i’d had my bath but had to style my hair, something which doesn’t take as long since i cut it. Now since Hamada came i also have to think for him something i am not happy about as it is hard enough taking care of myself, i don’t know if it is just him or if all men are like this ??????

We went to an Italian restaurant in Chester, it was very nice, Sarah drove which was nice, no walking or hanging about waiting for taxis. Sarah and David had pizza, oh and David  VERY kindly gave me a piece of his to try (and choke on!!!!!) with a jalapeno on it. Hamada had a spicy beef ravioli or something and i had very nice chicken breast with mushroom risotto, it didn’t look like there was much there but oh my it was filling!!! then we had dessert, Hamada had the tiramisu, Sarah had a chocolate cheesecake, David had apple with amaretto meringue and i had sliced banana belgian waffle with chocolate and ice cream yum yum delicious then coffee to follow, then i needed a lie down haha!!!

After dinner we went home and had some drinks and watched tv. Perfect end to a perfect night. ThankYou David and Sarah xxxx

I woke about 11:30 and continued with my washing, the clothes i’d put in when i arrived home were done so i could get the rest done. I hate this job, i leave the place in reasonable order before i go away and then half an hour of being home it looks like a tornado took a short cut through it

My brother David invited me to come for a bbq when i got back. When i telephoned he said he’d come about 3pm, my modem had arrived for my internet connection so he was going to set it up for me then take me to his house, the bbq was being done for 5pm. His mate Paul was there and his daughter Paige and niece Katy, so i was complimented on everything from my phone to the charms on it and my handbag.  We had burgers, hotdogs, chicken and salad, i was well stuffed. We had some drinks, i brought myself some vodka and the cocktail of vodka, sprite and grenadine the waiters made up for me before i left, lovely.

I went to meet my brother David and his girlfriend Sarah in town after work yesterday, it was another hot day. We had a drink in one of the bars, then moved on to another where we sat outside. It was a lovely day relaxing and chatting, Sarah and me shared a bottle of wine and David had beer. Then we went to a Chinese buffett restaurant, it was lovely and i enjoyed everything i tried. We went for one last drink before heading home, they had to get the train to Hooten then travel onto Great Sutton, they insisted i got a taxi which Sarah very kindly paid for.

Today is my last day at work yippee! Tomorrow i am flying back to Egypt to see my husband Hamada and i can’t wait! We are staying in Hurghada this time, two weeks all inclusve. So i will write up my next posts when i am back, so until then cheery bye.

I woke up about 4am i’d fallen asleep on the sofa, i went to the bathroom then got into the futon, but i only dozed on and off. David and Sarah came down about eleven o clock and we had a bacon roll and a refreshing glass of orange juice, very welcome after a nights drinking.

Sarah was very tired so has been asleep for most of the afternoon so David and me have been tapping away on our laptops, he he, i can do that now that i have my own.

I woke up to my brother David telephoning to arrange what time he would come to pick me up, it was eleven o clock so he said he would come for me at one. I telephoned Hamada and told him i had booked my reservations and i would be there on the 21st July.

David came for me at one, it takes about an hours driving. When we got in the house he was nodding his head at me, i thought my buttons were undone or something, but it was my lap top ! I had only ordered that and a digital camera last Sunday. My digital camera, which i was hoping would arrive before i went away, arrived at David’s on the Tuesday, very fast ! And my laptop arrived on Thursday, I was very pleased ! We spent a couple of hours going through and showing me how everything works, but i think a lot of it will be trial and error, haha.

I went upstairs about four o clock to straighten my hair and put some make-up on, soon after my sister Hazel and her partner Chris arrived with their three daughters Ashleigh 18, Kirsty 14, and Nicola 9. I hadn’t seen them for a couple of months and i am always amazed how much they have grown between visits, Kirsty is so much taller than me now and Nicola wont be far behind.

Sarah was in charge of the barbecuing, unfortunately we didn’t have the glorious sunshine we had last week, it started to rain so poor Sarah had to do the barbecue under a parasol, not that it affected the taste of the food. The drinks were already flowing when Ruth and Doug arrived, she didn’t finish work ’til three thirty so it was about six thirty when they arrived. So my camera has been put to use already to put on my lap top ! It was good fun catching up with all our news and i had fun with the kids. It was a shame when they all had to go but because of work they had to leave about eleven.

Another beautiful day ! After we had our breakfast David got his laptop out to look for a digital camera for me then we looked at laptops, i had wanted both for a while now but wouldn’t buy on my own. David is pretty good on these things so he helped me choose. I .spent the rest of the day sunbathing and reading my book it was very hot and i got quite sunburnt. I had a shower and after our evening meal had a couple of drinks then David took me home about nine o clock.
